Description

As the Content Strategist for Servicing, you’ll help build the content library for CMG’s net-new Mortgage Servicing Division while maintaining a consistent “voice of CMG Servicing.” This involves strategy work, plus writing, editing, and managing consumer-facing content (required notices/letters, plus email journeys, web pages, FAQs, agent and video scripts, SMS messages, etc.). This role will also contribute internal servicing-related content for CMG’s Retail Division. You will collaborate with other members of the Reputational Management and Consumer Journey department, CMG Marketing, Operations, and other partners to ensure content is compliant with regulations, operationally effective, and aligns with CMG’s enterprise marketing strategy. This position plays an important role in creating a best-in-class Mortgage Servicing experience and empowering and educating homeowners at all touchpoints with user-friendly communications.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

 

  • Creating and editing user-friendly mortgage servicing content across multiple platforms on deadline.
  • Maintaining CMG’s tone of voice for servicing in all content across the operation.
  • Working with partners to ensure content is compliant with regulations, guidelines, and state and federal law.
  • Moving and tracking content through review, approval, and production processes.
  • Staying up to date on content trends, consumer behavior, and industry news.
  • Using data, research, and industry best practices to optimize and enhance the consumer journey.
  • Analyzing consumer and internal feedback and helping create solutions to improve the experience.
  • Completing other projects and assignments as needed.


 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a consumer-facing mortgage servicing role or 5+ years in a consumer content role in another industry. Must have a portfolio of past written communications.
  • Excellent writing, copyediting, and communication skills and dedication to quality content.
  • Ability to understand the needs of consumers and internal partners.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principals.
  • Detail-oriented work style with solid time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and cross-functionally, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Advanced PC system skills including proficiency with the Microsoft product suite.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and high standards.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

 

 

CMG pays a competitive salary which ranges from $84,240 to $87,048. Factors that affect salary may include: Content Strategist experience, overall knowledge of mortgage servicing industry, number of years worked in mortgage industry, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage customer's, and education.
